The most beautiful road trip
For more than a hundred years, the farmers in Oldedalen had transported tourists by horse and cart to the beautiful Briksdalsbreen glacier. In 2004, they decided to discontinue this service and instead offer trips to the glacier in special Trollbilas.
The tour starts from the stop right by the souvenir shop in Briksdal - and the road winds through beautiful nature up along waterfalls and rapids in Briksdalen. From the end station at Kleivane and into the lake at Briksdalsbreen it is about 500 meters to walk. The path is wide and nice and here you walk through untouched nature in Jostedalsbreen National Park.
A round trip with the Trollbilen takes about 1.5 hours, with a stop at the top.

NOK 200,- per person for one-way transport. Valid only for the trip up (we do not sell return tickets only).

A ramp has been built at the start in Briksdal and at the end station in Kleivane, so it is easy to get in and out of the cars.
It is important to book well in advance, as this tour is very popular.
